Kopnyc – Run Area Calculation
The "Area Update" function updates all values calculated by Kopnyc in the Revit project in a single step – including total areas, living areas, ancillary areas and social housing areas.
Step 1 – Start the calculation
Click the "Area Update" button in the Kopnyc toolbar. Kopnyc will then update all calculations for every apartment in the project.
Step 2 – Review the report
After the calculation is complete, Kopnyc displays a report summarising the number of rooms processed. Review the report to confirm all rooms were captured correctly.
Note
Re-run the area calculation whenever rooms are added, moved or deleted in
the model,
or after any changes to Kopnyc settings. This ensures parameter values in
the project
are always up to date.
Toolbar overview
The Kopnyc toolbar in the "Kopnyc" tab contains the following buttons:
