1 Floor Plans
Configure how Kopnyc creates, names and displays floor plan views per apartment.
View name for apartment floor plans
Define the naming scheme for the floor plan view using room parameters. The name must be unique – using the apartment number is recommended. Parameters can be inserted via the "..." button.
View family type for apartment floor plans
Select the Revit view type to use for apartment floor plans.
View template for apartment floor plans
Select the Revit view template to apply to apartment floor plans.
View type to duplicate
Select the view type to be duplicated as the basis for creating the apartment floor plan.
View duplication option for floor plans
Define how the view should be duplicated (e.g. "Duplicate with Detailing").
Viewport type
Select the viewport type used for the floor plan views.
Room tag type for floor plan
Select the tag type used to label rooms in the floor plan.
Orient the apartment on sheet based on the selected door
Automatically rotates the floor plan on the sheet so the apartment entrance door faces upward. Orientation is based on the project north relative to geographic north.
Parameter to identify the entry door Yes/No
Select the parameter that indicates whether a door is the apartment entrance door.
Annotation family for door entry
Select a generic annotation family to be placed in front of the apartment entrance door. Calculated parameters in the family (e.g. apartment identifier) are updated automatically. Parameters must be assigned to the "Sheets" category to be updated.
Use a line over the crop region
Enables automatic creation of lines overlaid on the view crop region.
Line type to use
Select the line type used for the crop region overlay.
2 Mechanical Shaft Inclusion
Controls whether and how mechanical shafts are included in the apartment crop region.
Include mechanical shafts in apartment floor plans
Determines whether mechanical shafts are included when calculating the apartment crop region.
Parameter values for mechanical shafts
Define the value used to identify an element as a mechanical shaft (e.g. "Gaine technique"). Click "Initialize values" to load available values from the project.
Case sensitive
Controls whether parameter values are compared with case sensitivity.
Horizontal distance for mechanical shaft inclusion
The maximum horizontal distance (mm) between the apartment and a mechanical shaft for the shaft to be included in the crop region.
3 Key Plans
The key plan shows an apartment's position within the overall floor. Kopnyc supports three variants: a Schematic Key Plan (drafting view), a Key Plan as Floor Plan (detailed floor plan view), and a Parking Key Plan.

Enter the offset value (in mm) for filled regions.

4 Room Schedules
Configure the automatically generated room schedules per apartment.
View name for apartment room schedules
Define the naming scheme using room parameters. The name must be unique – using the apartment number is recommended.
View template for room schedules
Select the view template to apply to room schedules.
Parameter name for browser group
Select the parameter used to group and sort room schedules in the Revit Project Browser.
Parameter value for browser group
Enter the value used for grouping room schedules in the Project Browser.
