In this article
1 Floor Plans
Configure how Kopnyc creates, names and displays floor plan views per apartment. These settings are found under View Settings > Floor Plans in the Kopnyc Settings dialog.
View name for apartment floor plans
Define the naming scheme for the floor plan view using room parameters.
The name must be unique – using the apartment identifier
is recommended (e.g.
Plan de l'appartement_[Room:App_Identifiant]).
View family type for apartment floor plans
Select the Revit view family type to use for apartment floor plans (e.g. 13.06 Plan de vente - Etage).
View template for apartment floor plans
Select the Revit view template to apply to apartment floor plans (e.g. 13.06).
View Type to duplicate
Select the view type to be duplicated as the basis for creating the apartment floor plan (e.g. 13.03 Plan de vente annoter).
View duplication option for floor plans
Define how the view should be duplicated. Options include Duplicate, Duplicate with Detailing, or Duplicate as Dependent.
Viewport type
Select the viewport type used when placing the floor plan on a sheet.
Room tag type for floor plan
Select the tag type used to label rooms in the floor plan (e.g. ET1_Pièce - Appartement : Fonction + Surface).
Orient the apartment on sheet based on the selected door Yes/No
When enabled, Kopnyc automatically rotates the floor plan on the sheet so that the apartment entrance door faces upward. Orientation is calculated based on project north relative to geographic north.
Parameter to identify the entry door
Select the parameter that marks a door as the apartment entrance door (e.g. Type:Est une porte d'entrée). Used when the orientation option above is enabled.
Annotation family for door entry
Select a generic annotation family to be placed in front of the apartment entrance door (e.g. Indicateur d'entrée d'appartement). Calculated parameters are updated automatically. Parameters must be assigned to the "Sheets" category to be updated.
Use a line over the crop region Yes/No
When enabled, Kopnyc automatically creates lines overlaid on the view crop region boundary.
Line type to use
Select the line style used for the crop region overlay (e.g. Plan de vente - Détourage).
2 Mechanical Shaft Inclusion
Control whether technical/mechanical shafts are included when Kopnyc calculates the apartment crop region. These settings are found under View Settings > Mechanical Shaft Inclusion.
Include mechanical shafts in apartment floor plans Yes/No
Master toggle. When enabled, technical shafts near the apartment are included when calculating the crop region boundary.
Parameter values for mechanical shafts
Define the value(s) used to identify an element as a mechanical shaft (e.g. Gaine technique). Multiple values can be added. Use the Initialize values button to populate from existing project data.
Case sensitive Yes/No
When enabled, parameter value matching is case-sensitive.
Horizontal distance for mechanical shaft inclusion
The maximum horizontal distance (in mm) between the apartment boundary and a mechanical shaft for the shaft to be included in the crop region calculation (e.g. 150 mm).
3 Key Plans
The key plan shows an apartment's position within the overall floor layout. Kopnyc supports two variants: a Schematic Key Plan (drafting view) and a Key Plan as Floor Plan (floor plan view). An additional Parking Key Plan variant is available for parking levels. These settings are found under View Settings > Key Plans.
