Kopnyc – Additional Settings
In this article
1 Geometric Settings
These values control how Kopnyc interprets spatial distances to determine which rooms belong to the main body of an apartment and how the crop region is calculated.
Horizontal minimum distance for rooms outside the main apartment
Sets the horizontal distance (mm) beyond which a room is no longer considered part of the main apartment cluster. Rooms further away than this value are treated as external. Default: 300 mm.
Vertical minimum distance for rooms outside the main apartment
Sets the vertical distance (mm) beyond which a room is no longer considered part of the main apartment cluster – relevant for maisonette apartments with split levels. Default: 1000 mm.
Crop region offset
Allows the calculated crop region to be expanded or reduced by a defined value (mm). Default: 0 mm.
2 Import / Export Settings
Settings can be transferred between projects – either from another open Revit project or via an external file.
Import settings from project...
Imports settings from another Revit project open in the same Revit session.
Import settings from file...
Imports settings from an external file in .spxml format.
Export Settings
Exports all current Kopnyc settings to a .spxml file
for backup or use in other projects.
3 Reset Functions
The reset functions allow you to completely remove views created by Kopnyc and clear all calculated parameter values.
Reset Sales Plan Views
Deletes all schedules, sheets and views previously created by Kopnyc from the Revit project. This action cannot be undone.
Reset Area Parameters
Sets all parameters previously calculated by Kopnyc back to zero – e.g. total area, living area and other calculated values. This action cannot be undone.
.spxml file using the Export Settings
function above.
